Rose Music Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the Rose Music application handles information — what limited data it processes, how advertising and consent work, and the choices you have. It is written plainly, so you know exactly where you stand.

Effective date: 12 July 2026 Last updated: 21 July 2026 Application: Rose Music for Android Developer: Tibz Tech

This policy at a glance

  • Your media stays yours. Rose Music plays the audio and video already on your device. It does not collect your personal files, contacts, messages, passwords, or photos.
  • Ads, done by the rules. The app may show advertisements through Google AdMob, and asks for your consent first where regional privacy laws require it.
  • Limited technical data only. Device information, advertising identifiers, crash reports, diagnostics, consent status, and analytics generated by Google services — nothing more.
  • Nothing is sold. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not collect unnecessary personal data.
  • Permissions with a purpose. Media access is used only to browse and play your files; foreground service permissions only keep your music playing in the background.

This summary is provided for readability. The full policy below is the authoritative statement of our practices.

Section 01Introduction & About Rose Music

This Privacy Policy describes how Tibz Tech, the trading name of Tibs Tech Company Limited ("Tibz Tech", "we", "us", or "our"), handles information in connection with the Rose Music mobile application for Android ("Rose Music", the "Application", or the "App").

Rose Music is a music and video player for Android, developed by Tibz Tech. Its purpose is to give you a beautiful, reliable way to browse and play the audio and video files stored on your own device — with features such as background playback, media controls, and Picture-in-Picture where your device supports it.

Rose Music is designed around data minimization: it collects only the limited technical information described in this policy, and it does not collect or sell unnecessary personal information. This policy applies solely to the Rose Music Android application. By downloading, installing, or using Rose Music, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

Section 02Information We Collect

Rose Music may collect or process the following limited technical information, primarily generated through Google's services that the App integrates:

  • Device information — such as device model, operating system version, language, and general technical characteristics used to deliver and improve the App;
  • Advertising identifiers — the Android Advertising ID, used in connection with advertising and related processing by Google's advertising services, as described in Section 4;
  • Crash reports and diagnostics — technical records generated when the App encounters an error, used to identify and fix faults;
  • Consent status — a record of the advertising-consent choice you make through Google's User Messaging Platform, as described in Section 5;
  • Analytics generated by Google services — aggregate technical and usage indicators produced by the Google SDKs the App integrates, used to understand stability and performance.

What we do not collect

Rose Music does not collect or sell unnecessary personal information. In particular, the App does not collect:

  • Your name or identity documents;
  • Your contacts;
  • Your messages or communications;
  • Your passwords or login credentials;
  • Your photos or personal files beyond the ability to list and play your media as described in Section 6.

The App does not require you to create an account and does not maintain user profiles.

Section 03How Information Is Used

The limited information described above is used exclusively for the following purposes:

  • To provide the App's features — playing your media, remembering playback state, and operating the player reliably;
  • To display advertising — serving ads through Google AdMob in accordance with your consent status and Google Play policies (see Sections 4 and 5);
  • To maintain quality — diagnosing crashes, correcting faults, and improving stability and performance across devices and Android versions;
  • To keep advertising safe and measurable — supporting ad measurement and analytics, fraud prevention, security, and diagnostics and service improvement in connection with ads served through Google's services (see Section 4);
  • To comply with legal obligations — including honoring regional privacy-law consent requirements.

We do not use this information to build personal profiles of you, and we do not sell it.

Section 04Advertising with Google AdMob

Rose Music may display advertisements through Google AdMob, using the Google Mobile Ads SDK. Advertising is what allows the App to remain free to use.

In connection with advertising, the App may use the Android Advertising ID — a user-resettable identifier provided by the Android operating system — in accordance with Google Play policies. Rose Music itself does not use the Advertising ID to directly identify users, and we do not link it to any personally identifying information.

When ads are served, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process information (which may include the Advertising ID, device and technical information, and ad-interaction data) for the following purposes, in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy and Google Play policies:

  • Advertising — serving and, where consented, personalizing ads;
  • Ad measurement and analytics — measuring ad delivery and effectiveness;
  • Fraud prevention — detecting and preventing invalid traffic and ad fraud;
  • Security — protecting users, advertisers, and the ad ecosystem;
  • Compliance — meeting legal and policy obligations, including honoring consent choices;
  • Diagnostics and service improvement — monitoring, troubleshooting, and improving ad serving.

Data processed through the Google Mobile Ads SDK is handled by Google according to Google's Privacy Policy and applicable laws. We do not control this processing by Google.

You remain in control of this identifier through your device settings, where Android allows you to reset your Advertising ID or delete it / opt out of ads personalization at any time (the exact wording varies by Android version). When the identifier is deleted or personalization is limited, advertising within the App adapts accordingly.

Google's handling of data through AdMob and the Google Mobile Ads SDK is governed by Google's own policies, including Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Section 05Consent & the User Messaging Platform (UMP)

Where regional privacy laws require it — for example, in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom under the GDPR, or in other jurisdictions with similar consent requirements — Rose Music uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request your consent before personalized advertising is shown.

  • The consent form is shown first. In regions where consent is required, you will be presented with a consent message before relevant advertising processing begins.
  • Your choice is respected. The App records your consent status and advertising behaves in line with the choice you made — including serving non-personalized ads where you decline personalization, where applicable.
  • You can change your mind. Where required by law, the App provides a way to review and update your consent choice, and you can also manage advertising preferences through your device settings as described in Section 4.

Your consent status is one of the limited data points the App processes, solely to honor and demonstrate compliance with your choice. Please note that even where personalized advertising is declined, non-personalized ads may still involve limited data processing — such as IP address and coarse device signals — for the non-personalization purposes described in Section 4, including fraud prevention, security, frequency capping, and aggregate ad measurement.

Section 06Permissions Used by the App

Rose Music requests only the permissions it needs to function as a media player, and uses each strictly for its stated purpose:

  • Media and storage permissions (such as access to audio and video on your device) are used only to browse and play the audio and video files stored on your device. The App does not upload your media files, does not scan them for any purpose other than building your local library, and does not access files unrelated to media playback.
  • Foreground service permissions are used only to continue media playback in the background — so your music keeps playing when you switch apps or lock your screen — and to support media controls (notification and lock-screen controls) and Picture-in-Picture video playback where your device supports it.

The App does not use permissions to access your camera, microphone, location, contacts, or messages.

Section 07Third-Party Services

Rose Music integrates the following third-party services, each operated by Google LLC and governed by Google's own terms and privacy policies:

  • Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK — advertising delivery, as described in Section 4;
  • Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) — regional consent management, as described in Section 5;
  • Google Play services — the platform infrastructure through which the App is distributed and updated.

These services may process data as independent controllers or processors under Google's Privacy Policy. We do not control Google's processing, and we encourage you to review Google's policies to understand it.

Rose Music does not integrate other third-party advertising networks, social media SDKs, cloud account systems, or subscription platforms. If a future version of the App introduces additional services or data processing, this Privacy Policy will be updated in advance to describe them accurately.

Section 08Data Security

We implement reasonable and appropriate technical and organizational measures designed to protect the limited information the App processes, and we follow a data-minimization approach — the less that is collected, the less there is to protect.

Data retention

Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy. Crash reports and diagnostics are retained only as long as needed to identify and fix faults; consent records are retained to honor and demonstrate compliance with your choice; and data processed by Google through its SDKs is retained according to Google's own retention practices. Uninstalling the App ends all processing by the App on your device, and you may request deletion as described in Section 10.

Security disclaimer: while we take security seriously and apply reasonable safeguards, no method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be absolutely secure. We therefore cannot promise, and do not warrant, absolute security of information.

Section 09Children's Privacy

Rose Music is a general-audience application and is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a child has provided information to the App, please contact us using the details in Section 12, and we will take reasonable steps to delete such information promptly. Advertising within the App is served in accordance with Google Play's policies, including its requirements regarding ads and children.

Section 10Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights regarding your information — and we honor the substance of these rights regardless of your location:

  • Consent choices: where consent-based advertising applies, you may give, refuse, or update your consent as described in Section 5;
  • Advertising controls: you may reset or delete your Advertising ID and limit ads personalization at any time through your device settings;
  • Access and information: you may ask us what categories of information the App processes, as described in this policy;
  • Deletion: you may request deletion of information that could reasonably be associated with your device, and we will honor such requests except where retention is required by law. Uninstalling the App ends all processing by the App on your device;
  • Complaints: you may contact us with any privacy concern, and you may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority in your jurisdiction.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 12.

Section 11Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — for example, to reflect changes in the App's functionality, in legal or regulatory requirements, or in the third-party services the App integrates. When we do:

  • The updated policy will be published at this same address: https://tibztech.com/privacy-policy/rose-music;
  • The Effective Date and Last Updated dates at the top of this page will be revised accordingly;
  • Where changes are material — in particular, any change introducing new categories of data processing — the update will be published before or together with the release that introduces the change.

Your continued use of the App after an updated policy takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Section 12Contact Information

If you have any questions, requests, or concerns about this Privacy Policy or the App's privacy practices, please contact us through our official support channels. We aim to respond promptly and, in any event, within a reasonable period after receipt.
